double helix

Description

The Double Helix cushion is my small tribute to a brilliant young female scientist.

The double helix.

This image is a detail taken from a free to download educational poster designed by Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya for the Science not Silence campaign; a beautiful piece of artwork that contained all of the elements that I needed to tell the story; the photo 51 image, DNA and Rosalind at her microscope.
